Burlesque
Burlesque(2010) Directed by Steve Antin star Christina Aguilera and Cher. It's a musical drama where it focus on a small-town girl called Ali played by Christina Aguilera with a huge voice. Dealing with all th hardship and trying to pursue her dream at LA. Then she stumble upon upon The Burlesque Lounge, a majestic but ailing theater that is home to an inspired musical revue. So let see if her dreams really come true. The dance the outfit and everything tells you it's all about being confidence and sexy ladies! I think overall the movie is quite interesting for me. As Christina played the character very well and it does suit her. With her powerful voice she does look very fit to act. Not to mention it was her first role in the movie. Not to forget the amazing Cher that still can sing and so energetic performance by her. Also I love the dance in every scenes that was on the movie. It feels like giving woman to be confidence and sexy. Besides that the message that I can find from the movie is that one have to listen to others opinion because it might change something. Friendship is also part of it where Ali and Nikki (played by Kristen Bell) got into a wrong feet and in the end they consult and become friends again. All the jealousy sometimes we have to throw it in order to have a better relationship. As for Jack (played by Cam Gigandet) known to played James in Twilight, we can still see him as the guy from it. Anyway, he still played the role well. References: 1. Photo by unknown, n.d. retrieved on May 20 2. Photo by unknown, n.d. retrieved on May 20 3. Photo by unknown, n.d. retrieved on May 20 |

Red Riding Hood
Red Riding Hood (2011) The title says it all, it's not typical story that we heard where Little Red Riding Hood went to her grandma's house and found out there's a ware wolf in the house. The film was directed by Catherine Hardwicke which known for directing Twilight. Basically the story is a bout a girl called Valarie played by Amanda Seyfried and a boy name Peter played by Shiloh Fernandez. They decided to ran away from the village until a sirens kept them plans canceled. The movie is not that bad anyway, what I expect to happen did not happen and it happens in a different way. Other than that, Amanda Seyfried play an amazing job in her character. While Shiloh Fernandez does look like Robert Pattinson from Twilight. At some point, some of the parts of the scene quite hard to understand. Overall, I'm quite disappointed with the movie. Because we normally expect something like the folks Red Riding Hood story. But it turns out in a different way. Here are some the pictures from the film. |

Easy A
Easy A(2010) |
Last week, I had watched Easy A movie. Directed by Will Gluck known for making movies like Fired Up The genre of the movie is a comedian and romance. Basically the movie talks about how a normal teenager who make up some untrue rumors about herself so that she feels some attentions among the students in her school. The main character in the movie is Olive Penderghast play by the gorgeous Emma Stone. While Amanda Bynes, Aly Michalka, Penn Badgley, Cam Gigandet and others who were acted in the movie too. It focused about the lifestyle of the students in US where they deal with being famous, wannabe or known for a freak group if your not that too cool and outstanding in the high school.

So from my opinion about the movie, I think it's does entertain you where some of the scene where Emma Stone strut her runway while using a lingerie corset and attached some big "A" sign on the right side of her chest which totally gaining the attention of the whole students looking at her. Emma Stone did play the role very well and all this time I remember she acted in one of the movie called The House Bunny(2008) where she acted alongside with Anna Faris, her role in the movie is kinda like a geeky nerdy way which never thought she could also acted in this kind of movie. With the red-hair and husky voice we just love to watch her act in other kinds of movie. According to David Edwards from Daily Mirrors(UK), he stated that Easy A is more hilarious and better comedy ever since Mean Girls. For the role of Olive play by Emma Stone, she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in the category of Best Actress(Comedy/Musical) but she lost to Annette Bening.

But anyway it was a great achievements for her since she competed the awards with the others Hollywood amazing actress. In a nutshell, it was a very good movie and I do recommend you guys to watch it.
